This mono shark rig consists of 10′ 400 lb Momoi Hi-Catch leader attached to 30″ of #15 (240 lb) AFW single strand wire by way of a 450 lb. QucikRig corkscrew swivel.  The business end of the rig is an Addya Hooks 18/0 or 20/0 hook, which meets the new shark regulations that took effect January 1, 2018, requiring the use of non-offset, non-stainless steel circle hooks when shark fishing using natural bait.  This hook is also compliant with IGFA regulations!  Use this rig for sharks who don’t like the feel of stranded cable.
